Live in the beautiful capital city of Budapest which sits on the Danube River with 2 million people, 34 universities and colleges and over 150,000 students. It has a long and rich history including Germanic, Slavic, Hungarian and Turkish influence. Today, it is the center of culture, film, literature, music and business for much of Central and Eastern Europe.
Team
Join a long-term American couple and a full-time Hungarian staff to provide much needed capacity to interact and engage with high school and university students. You will be able to learn from their 15+ years of experience living and ministering in Hungary.
Serve
You will join in developing and strengthening a city-wide ministry among students with a primary focus on either high schools or universities (servicelearning.hu). In this secular and post-Christian society priding itself in melancholy, you will have an opportunity to bring gospel hope and life to people. Along with leading developmental programs and initiating relationships and spiritual conversations you will come alongside and disciple students in the faith trusting the Lord for a foundational generation of Hungarian laborers.
